Taylor Santoro

Taylor Santoro is a Rhode Island native, and recent graduate of Rhode Island College’s Musical Theatre and Dance Performance programs. At RIC, he discovered his love for teaching pre-professional young adults, while grounding and exploring his passions for the performing arts as a member of the RIC Dance Company and through numerous music, theatre and dance performances. During his time at RIC, Taylor became the choreographer for St. Michael’s Country Day School’s Theatre at St. Michael’s summer program. During this delightfully stressful experience, Taylor not only further deepened his love for the performing arts, but also found himself inspired by those young minds and all of the creativity that they had to offer. Quickly, Taylor found himself teaching in studios, leading auditions and giving workshop classes for all ages. In October, Taylor got his start at Wheeler as a member of the WOW after-school program and was quickly sucked in by the school’s infectiously warm and welcoming atmosphere. Shortly after starting at Wheeler, Taylor became the Early Childhood Assistant Teacher out on the Seekonk campus. Taylor allowed himself to be fully immersed in nature based education and once again fell in love after being reminded of what it felt like to work alongside beautiful young minds and is excited to start his journey as a member of the Wheeler School Family. When not singing, dancing or spending time with 3-6 year olds, Taylor enjoys cooking, practicing his Italian and spending time with his friends, family, boyfriend Randy and “Covid puppy” Roxanne the American Bully.
