I believe that learning thrives in nature, where curiosity and creativity come alive through hands-on experiences. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the idea that children are natural explorers, capable of leading their own learning when given the tools, time, and space to connect with the world around them. I see my role as a guide—offering invitations to play and discover while creating an environment that nurtures wonder, collaboration, and a deep respect for the earth.

In every lesson, I aim to foster a sense of belonging and empowerment, encouraging children to ask questions, take risks, and develop a lifelong love for learning. By weaving together sensory-rich activities, open-ended exploration, and opportunities for reflection, I strive to help children and families build skills and deepen their connection to themselves, each other, and the natural world. Teaching is about sparking joy, cultivating curiosity, and helping learners of all ages feel seen, valued, and inspired by the beauty and lessons found outdoors.
