Does your child love to dance and perform? Are they feeling motivated to learn a new sport? Maybe they are interested in exploring something new? These are just some of the potential choices available to your child through after school enrichment. After School Enrichment programs will be available to all students enrolled in a full day program. Children will have the opportunity to join organized, curriculum-based elective classes that will dive deep into a variety of age-appropriate subject matters, interests, skills, and passions taught by members of the Wheeler community and outside partners and vendors.
Enrichment programs will vary by term (Fall/Winter/Spring). Subject matter, class time and scheduling will determine pricing. Meeting once per week, classes typically run from 3:30-4:15pm and require an enrollment minimum in order to operate.
Extended care until 5:30pm is included in your Nest tuition however, enrollment for enrichment classes will be billed during the enrichment cycle.
Wheeler Summer’s philosophy is about giving campers an opportunity to be active in an outdoor environment, explore new things, have fun, build confidence, and make long-lasting friendships!
For summer 2023, we have continued to enhance our programs and offerings and truly believe that you, and most importantly, your children, will be happy campers.
Our Summer Camp programs, for children ages 3 to 15, feature a busy day full of fun camp activities for campers grouped by age. Campers who are curious to explore have a choice of our week-long Specialty Camps in athletics, arts, and enrichment directed by highly qualified organizations and our wonderful Wheeler faculty. Our Specialty Camps are full-day programs that include a half-day of Specialty Camp and a half-day of Traditional Camp. Swim lessons take place each day for campers in both programs. Wheeler summer will also offer a few specialized programs this summer that are full-day programs.
The Auxiliary Programs team will offer programs on select days when the program is not in session, including winter and spring breaks. Camps may include on-site activities. All programs will be offered from 7:30am-4:00pm.
